Find out who you follow that doesn't follow you back, then unfollow them yourself in small batches, one tap at a time.
Your file is read inside this page and is not uploaded anywhere. The page remembers only which usernames you have clicked, in this browser.
Menu names change from time to time. The export is a snapshot, so request a new one whenever you want fresh numbers.
The file has no follow dates, so there is nothing to draw.
Counts only people who still follow you, grouped by the month they followed. Followers who left are not in the file.
The files are made inside this page and saved on your device. Nothing is uploaded. Save the full following list before you unfollow anyone, as a backup.
Instagram does not publish how many unfollows it allows. Short batches with long breaks in between are the careful way to do it.
If a profile says the page isn't available, or shows Follow instead of Following, you are not following it. Tap Not following on that row to set it aside.
Each row is an account you follow that does not follow you, next to a follower with a similar name. If the old name no longer exists, it may be the same person after a rename. Open both profiles to check. If it is the same person, tap Same account and the old name leaves your unfollow queue. This list is a guess from spelling only, and deleted accounts cannot be found this way.
No similar names found.
This is the following list from your file, without the accounts you set aside as not following. Instagram's own Following screen has the final say.
