LinkedIn Connection Check

Add the files from your LinkedIn data download to see which invitations were never accepted, who you actually talk to, and how your network grew.

Your files

How to get your files from LinkedIn (on a computer, about 5 minutes plus waiting)
  1. Open LinkedIn's Download my data page and sign in if asked. You can also click Me, then Settings & Privacy, then Data privacy, then Download my data.
  2. Choose the first option, Download larger data archive. Do not choose "Want something in particular?": its list has no Connections option.
  3. Click Request archive and confirm your password if asked.
  4. LinkedIn emails you a download link. The larger archive can take up to 24 hours.
  5. Download the ZIP from the email and drop it below. You do not need to unzip it.

Menu names change from time to time. This page reads the files on your device and sends them nowhere. The files it uses are Connections.csv, Invitations.csv and messages.csv.

Post how many people you checked. The image has numbers only, so nobody is named.

Ideas, problems or questions?

Tell me what worked, what broke, or what you would like next. If a file was not read correctly, copy the details below and paste them into your message.

The feedback form is hosted by Zoho. The copied details are counts, file names and column names only. They never include names or profile links.

Privacy policy

Last updated 23 October 2026. This is a plain-language description of what this page does with your information.

Your files stay on your device

The files you add are read inside your browser. They are never sent to the page's author or to any server run by this page. The page has no accounts, no LinkedIn login and no database.

What the page reads

These files contain other people's names. They stay on your device, and the share image contains numbers only.

What is stored

Nothing. The page does not use cookies or your browser's storage. Your results disappear when you close or reload the page, and "Start over" clears them at once. The author holds no copy of your data, so there is nothing for the author to delete or hand back.

Visit counting

The page counts visits with GoatCounter, which does not use cookies. GoatCounter receives the usual details a browser sends when a page loads, such as the page address, browser type and screen size. It does not receive your files or results.

Other services the page loads

The ZIP reader comes from cdnjs (Cloudflare), the fonts from Google Fonts and the visit counter from GoatCounter. The page itself is hosted on GitHub Pages. When your browser loads something from these services, they can see your IP address and browser details, as with any website.

Links that open other sites

LinkedIn opens in a new tab when you click "Open profile". "Post on X" opens X with the message shown in the box, and the message goes to X only when you click. The image is never sent: you save it and add it to your post yourself. The links to the Instagram and X tools and to the feedback form open other websites, which have their own policies.

Feedback

What you type in the feedback form goes to Zoho and to the author. "Copy details for my message" only puts counts, file names and column names on your clipboard. Nothing is sent until you paste it somewhere yourself.

Children

This page is meant for people old enough to have a LinkedIn account.
